Lalmonirhat’ Eye Camp Launched

A week-long free medical camp has been launched today in Lalmonirhat, a district in the northern part of Bangladesh. Civil Surgeon Dr. M Kashem Ali inaugurated the camp at Lalmonirhat Model Degree College premises on Friday, October 13, at 8 am. At the time, the country director of Al-Basar International Foundation Bangladesh aBranch Dr. Ahmed Taher Almanbary and Principal of Lalmonirhat Model Degree College Mr. A.K.M. Mahbubul Alam Mithu along with other dignitaries from the area were also present.
An expert medical team under the leadership of Dr. Mohammad Abu Saeed, the Medical Director of Al-Noor Eye Hospital, Lalmatia, Dhaka, has rendered required medical services to all patients flooded to the camp today. While a team of surgeons will continue getting all selected patients operated in the days to follow. It’s worth mentioning that more than 700 patients are selected for free cataract operation in this BIF CARAVAN for free treatment.
