Ukhia Eye Camp Held

A week-long free eye camp has been inaugurated in Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar today, April 06, 2018.
Al-Basar International Foundation, Bangladesh Sector organized this free eye care event by the financial support from Dubai Charity Association and UAE AID.

About 2500  underprivileged patients living in Ukhia and surrounding areas rushed to the camp for availing the free services. 500 of them have been found with mature cataract, who will receive 100% free operation and IOL implantation.

The Country Director of Al-Basar International Foundation has inaugurated the event whereas the manager of Makka eye hospital, Uttara, Mr. Abdull Algibree along with other officials of Al-Basar International Foundation have been at the occasion.
