Mithapukur, Rangpur Eye Camp

Bangladesh chapter of UK-based voluntary organisation, Al-Basheer International Foundation, has provided free treatments to eye patients and conducted cataract surgeries in Mithapukur, Rangpur lately.

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre stood behind this eye camp by granting a donation under its auspicious program called Volunteer Medical Campaign for Ophthalmology in Bangladesh.

More than 4100 people with eye ailments have received cost-free treatment in this eye camp rendered by highly qualified doctors from different eye hospitals of Al-Basar International Foundation in Bangladesh.

513 patients with cataract have undergone free surgeries in this arrangement to remove their cataract and implant free of cost IOL.

At a week-long charity eye camp, 1594 eyeglasses have also been distributed besides eye drops, ointments, tablets and other necessary medicines among the patients.
